Options User Interface page
The Options - User Interface page enables you to customise the skin colour of the Content Manager interface.
- Use a custom skin - enables colour selection
- Set Skin Colour - use the colour picker to select a skin colour
- Reset Skin Colour - goes back to default colour setting
- Apply search filter when showing child rows in user interface - select this option to apply the search filter used to find the top levels to the lower levels when viewing them in their hierarchical structure.
If the following double clicking options are greyed out, the administrator has not enabled this feature for end users to modify, see System Options User Interface page. You can also opt to use the System Options setting that your Content Manager administrator has set for each of the options, do this by selecting Use System Option from the drop-down list.
- Edit - opens the document in Edit mode
- View - opens the document in the Content Manager Viewer
- Properties - Opens the record properties dialogue
- Edit - opens the document in Edit mode
- View - opens the document using the Content Manager Viewer
- Properties - opens the record properties dialogue
- Navigate to Contents - displays the records inside the container. If there are no contents, the container properties dialogue will display
- Properties - opens the container properties dialogue
- Navigate to Contents and Alternative Contents - displays the records within the container as well as those that have an Alternatively Within relationship with the container.
External Link for record double click - an external application can be set to open on double click. This setting overrides the other double click options. Only a predefined external link can be entered, see External Links.
- Windows Client - when using this option the URL will use the contentmanager:// format, for example, contentmanager://record?DB=45&Type=97&Items=1&[Item1]&URI=1
- Web Client - when using this option the Content Manager web server URL must be specified on the System Options - Web Services page
- Use Explorer Browser for Favourite Classifications - select this option to open the Manage - Classifications - Favorite Classifications window in the Explorer user interface.
- Show Cascade Properties in View Pane for Object Properties - select this option to allow users to configure the properties of Content Manager objects as cascading properties.
- Use Modal Window for New Objects - select this option to open New dialogs to be opened as a modal window, allowing the window to be moved outside of the Content Manager client.
NOTE: This option only applies to the Content Manager client, Content Manager Desktop will always display dialogs as a modal window.
